PAD Saint-Tropez opens 2 July 2026 at Maison Jean Despas on Place des Lices, bringing twenty international galleries of collectible design and artists' jewellery to the French Riviera for the first time.

PAD, the world's first collectible design fair, arrives in Saint-Tropez for the first time this week. Running from Thursday 2 July to Sunday 5 July 2026 at Maison Jean Despas on the legendary Place des Lices, the inaugural edition brings together approximately twenty French and international galleries specialising in historical and contemporary design, alongside presentations of artists' jewellery.

Founded in Paris in 1998 by fourth-generation Parisian antique dealer Patrick Perrin, PAD was the first design fair of its kind in the world and after 27 editions remains the leading event for international design collectors. It expanded to London in 2007, where it takes place every October in a tent on Berkeley Square during Frieze Week. The Saint-Tropez edition marks its first foray onto the French Riviera, supported by the City of Saint-Tropez and chosen for both its cultural significance and its international audience.

The confirmed gallery list spans six countries. From France: Jacques Lacoste, Dutko, Elie Top, JAG, Opera Gallery, Stéphanie Coutas, Maison Parisienne, Gastou, and Karry Berreby. From the United Kingdom: Tristan Hoare and Carpenters, which also operates in France and the United States. From Portugal: Bessa Pereira and Galeria da Estrela. From Spain: Julia Munoz Portuondo. From Greece: Veta Stefanidou Tsoukala. From Lebanon: House of Today.

The venue, Maison Jean Despas, sits at the heart of Place des Lices, the square that remains the true social and cultural centre of Saint-Tropez. To mark the opening, a large-scale pétanque tournament will bring the famous square to life alongside the fair itself.

Admission for the private inauguration on 2 July is €50. Public access from 3 to 5 July is €20. Residents of the twelve communes of the Golfe de Saint-Tropez enter free on presentation of proof of residency. The fair opens daily from 11am to 9pm.
